Mr Lekh Puy was borned in Russeylok village, Russeylok commune, Chi kreng district, Siem Reap province, Cambodia in1980 during the civil war. When he was just six months old, his father was passed away from malaria. He has two siblings-one brother and sister, he grew up and attended school in his village. After he finished his primary school , his mother could not afford to send him to secondary school. Instead, she decided to send him to a Buddhist monastery and he lived with the monks. He decided to remain a monk for a while to continue his education, eventually graduating from University in Siem Reap, Cambodia. He has been working as a tour guide since 2008. He lives in Siem Reap city with his family and has three children-one boy and two girls.
