Day 1: Angkor Wat & Banteay Srei

  • In early morning start at 4:45 AM, Meet your guide and driver to buy your temple pass at the official ticket office or buy online. Then, take a drive about 30 minutes through the UNESCO site.

  • Iconic Masterpieces: Explore the legendary Angkor Wat Sunrise, the world’s largest Hindu temple on earth where visitors gather at dawn to watch the sun rise directly behind the five towers of Angkor Wat. The sun creates a breathtaking , dramatic silhouette against a sky that transitions through deep purples, brilliant pinks, and fiery roaanges. 

  • Visit Banteay Srei (the “Lady Temple”), celebrated for its unmatched pink sandstone carvings, and finish at Banteay Samre and Pre Rup temple.

Day 2: Angkor Thom & Jungle Temples

  • The Walled City: Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and marvel at the giant stone faces of Bayon. Walk past Baphuon, the Royal Palace, and the Terrace of the Elephants and leper king terrace.

  • Jungle Ruins: Explore the massive Preah Khan monastery. Discover the quiet forest sanctuary of Ta Nei, then finish at the iconic, tree-entwined Ta Prohm (“Tomb Raider” temple).

  • Sunset at Phnom Bakheng is a renowned evening experience where visitors gather atop a 65-meter hill to see the sun dip below the jungle canopy and west Baray reservoir. Visitors can also see Angkor Wat towers and Siem Reap city from atop hill. Number of visitors is limited 300 people and visitors should arrive at 4:00 PM. allow 20 or 30 minutes for hiking to the top.
