4-Day Siem Reap Remote Tour & Cultural Gems
Day 1: Beng Mealea Temple, Tonle Sap Floating Village & Banteay Srei
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up at 8:00 AM (flexible timing). We will stop to purchase your temple pass before heading out to explore Beng Mealea, a spectacular, semi-ruined jungle temple. Afterward, we will visit a vibrant floating village on Tonle Sap Lake to experience local life on the water. To conclude the day, we will visit the charming temple of Banteay Srei (the Lady Temple), widely celebrated as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art.
Day 2: Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider Temple) & The Grand Circuit
We start the day early at around 7:00 AM at Ta Prohm to beat the crowds. Famous as the “Tomb Raider” temple, this stunning Buddhist monastery features massive tree roots growing directly out of the ancient stones. Next, we will continue along the Grand Circuit to explore the incredible history of Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan—a grand complex built by King Jayavarman VII to honor his father.
Day 3: Angkor Thom City, Hidden Gems & Angkor Wat at Peace
We begin at 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful experience before the crowds arrive. First, we head to Angkor Thom, entering the ancient city to explore Bayon Temple at its heart, famous for its captivating, giant stone faces. From there, we will walk through the shaded parkland to Baphuon Temple, the Royal Palace & Phimeanakas, and the majestic Terrace of the Elephants.
After a brief stop at the quiet Victory Gate, we will visit the hidden gem of Ta Nei and the beautiful Banteay Kdei temple.
-
Afternoon Highlight: You will enter the legendary Angkor Wat through the less-frequented east entrance. This allows you to experience the magnificent monument in serenity and capture the best photos away from the crowds.
Day 4: Wat Thmey (Killing Fields Memorial) & Traditional Khmer Crafts
After breakfast, we will take you to Wat Thmey pagoda, a moving memorial site for the Killing Fields near Siem Reap town, where you will learn about Cambodia’s history during the Khmer Rouge regime (1975–1979). Afterward, we will transition to celebrating Cambodia’s cultural rebirth with a visit to Artisans Angkor and a local silk farm to see traditional handicrafts being masterfully created. Finally, we will transfer you safely back to your hotel.
