Day 1: Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom & Preah Khan

  • 7:00 AM – Jungle Temples: Meet your guide and stop to buy your temple pass. Head early to Ta Prohm (the “Tomb Raider” temple) and Ta Nei to beat the crowds and enjoy the massive tree-root ruins.

  • Walled City & Bayon: Visit the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom, then explore Bayon to see its 200+ giant smiling stone faces. Continue past Baphuon and the Royal Palace & Phimeanakas to finish at the grand Preah Khan monastery.

Day 2: Floating Village & Roluos Group

  • Tonle Sap Lake: Spend the morning exploring Kompong Phluk or Chong Kneas. Experience local life in a community built on water, complete with stilted houses, floating schools, and flooded mangrove forests.

  • Ancient Roots: On the way back, explore the Roluos Group temples (Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei), which date back to the early dawn of the Khmer Empire.

Day 3: Angkor Wat & Banteay Srei

  • Angkor Wat: Enter through the quiet East Gate right after the sunrise rush. Enjoy the world’s largest religious monument while it is cool, quiet, and bathed in morning light.

  • Pink Sandstone Carvings: Travel through local villages to Banteay Srei (the “Lady Temple”), famous for having Cambodia’s most detailed, well-preserved carvings. Stop at Banteay Samre before returning to your hotel.
